Sadly, my favorite of the year, The Love that Remains, is already eliminated from competition for Best International Film. Now I'm rooting for Sirat, but I haven't yet seen It Was Just an Accident or Sound of Falling, which other DCCers have raved about. Sentimental Value and No Other Choice sound like sure nominees, and I think they're worthy. Belen, The Secret Agent, Left-Handed Girl, and The President's Cake, which all made the shortlist, didn't leave much of an impression.
